A little bit of Summer

We had a fun and busy summer! This is just a small update but I guess you've gotta start somewhere. We spent some time in Texas with Nana and Papa at their new house and had a lot of fun!  We also had a fun family reunion at Bear Lake.                     I ran three races between June and July and we enjoyed many local festivities going on around here this summer! Kynley became a brave swimmer swimming around the pool with just a little floaty on.                                                                           Jake stayed busy with tennis all summer and got to coach a 16-18 Zonals team, and played in some fun double tournaments with his students! It has gone by quick.  It has been nice to be a full time stay at home mom but defiantly different not teaching everyday!

What our summer has looked like so far...

Kynley drinking out of the hose. She loves water and will always want to drink out of your cup (or hose)!

Swimming has been one of Kynley's favorite activities so far this summer,  she will play in the pool for a good hour and of course tries to drink the water. She is so brave and will just put her face in.  We also enjoyed a visit from Aunt Melissa for a couple of days which was a lot of fun!

Exploring new places has been exciting.

We've been doing some projects around the apartment and Kynley has been a good helper to her dad.

Our favorite summer treat at the Summer Snow Shack!

Orem Summer Fest with cousin Emma and Jordan and Aunt Jess! (I guess Jordan was on a ride when we took this picture!)
We have enjoyed hanging out with friends!

Swinging makes Kynley giggle and it also makes her sleepy!
We have been doing some home sewing  projects and sewing projects with friends!

Kynley and I have been having lots of fun hanging out and going to the park. It is so fun to not have to work this summer (or any summer!) and I have enjoyed being a stay at home mom for the time being.

And this new face of the summer?? We are not sure what exactly this means sometimes it is a frustrated face, sometimes a mad face, sometimes she just makes the face but I can't help but laugh every time she makes it! We sure have had a fun time so far. A lot of relaxing and walks and projects. We can't wait for July and are loving the time we have been able to spend as a family!
