Catch Up

Some of the other things we enjoyed the last few months of the year included...
Nelson Family 5K!  Thanksgiving morning we braved the cold and ran our own little family 5K with hot apple cider afterward. We all had fun and want to keep this tradition going.

Kynley new favorite thing recently is squeezing into small spaces!
No Holiday season is complete without a visit to Temple Square to see the lights and hearing Uncle Aaron's choir sing!

Christmas morning the whole Montgomery and Nelson clan with the annual steps picture before presents!

Kynley was intrigued by present opening. She mostly wandered around watching everyone else open presents, took a snack break, chased the dog and finally got around to going through her stocking and presents!

Christmas morning all ready for church!

Christmas 2010

The whole family was in town for Christmas and we spent Christmas Eve and morning at our house!  We were a little cramped but it was a lot of fun to have everyone here. Kynley woke up at 7:30 so we decided to wake everyone else up so she would be awake! She almost made it through opening presents without falling asleep.

Christmas in Michigan

We spent the holidays in Michigan where it was sooo cold! We loved being able to visit my family and spend time with them, even though we think they need to move someplace warmer! There were lots of nerf gun wars, Rock Band and crafts!

Making gingerbread houses!

Jake served on the Michigan State campus on his mission. For Christmas I got him tickets to a basketball game. We spent a fun day in Lansing where we visited friends and saw many memories from the mission!

A converted Michigan State fan!

Katie, mom, Maggie and Penny sledding at night!

We went to a Detroit Pistons game, I think listening to dad, Brad and Jake talk and comment was more entertaining...it wasn't their best season.
